MICHELE BOY

  Michele Boy is the owner and editor of a small town weekly newspaper, The Syracuse Journal. She has received numerous awards for her reporting, writing and news excellence. 

Boy has been published in two Chicken Soup for the Soul books - Me and My Dog, and Volunteering and Giving Back.

Boy has also had several articles published in Kansas Agland, the Hutchinson News, and other smaller publications.

Southwest Kansas became her home in 2001. The sunsets, the small towns, and the sense of community inspire creativity.  Her eye is drawn to the skies, the abandoned machinery, and the wide open spaces.
